VOCES comes to WORLD this Hispanic Heritage Month to celebrate the rich diversity of this community's American experience, presenting new and established filmmakers and brings their powerful and illuminating stories to a national audience.

The film follows Luis – an immigration attorney as well as a DACA recipient – as he journeys from a difficult youth to the highest court in the land as part of a powerful legal team fighting the Administration’s attempt to rescind DACA.

Almost American | October 17

The decision by the Department of Homeland Security in 2018 to revoke Temporary Protected Status (TPS) left thousands of American families on the brink of a separation crisis, since many TPS holders have lived in the U.S. for decades and now have American-born children. “Almost American” follows the Ayala Flores family, who have lived and worked in the nation’s capital for 20 years, sheltered by the TPS status first granted in 2001. Like her parents, the family’s oldest daughterMaria, was born in El Salvador but the younger children, born in the U.S., are American citizens. The termination of TPS status threatens to separate the family.

Latino Vote 2024 | October 24

Examine the priorities of a politically diverse Latino electorate in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election in some of the most hotly contested battleground states, including Arizona, Florida, and Pennsylvania as well as California and Florida.


Our Texas, Our Vote | October 31

As with the rest of the nation, Texas Latinos are concerned with the economy, reproductive rights, gun violence, and immigration. "Our Texas, Our Vote” reports from across the state, from border towns to big cities to the state’s capitol, meeting with people across the political spectrum, featuring candid interviews with young leaders who are at the forefront of this unprecedented campaign to engage Latino voters and get them to the polls.
