Candidates for the Republican nomination for president gathered at Vermeer Corporation headquarters in Pella, Iowa for a forum sponsored by the National Association of Manufacturers. Candidates participating in the forum included Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), former Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-GA), Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA). The forum was moderated by Iowa Gov.
